Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. Warehouse C is a ten-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, released in June 2021 as a one-off limited bottling. It is named after Warehouse C, built by Colonel Taylor in 1885.
Half of the barrels came from the second floor of that warehouse and half from the fifth. The bourbon is bottled in bond at 100 proof (50% ABV), in a 750ml bottle supplied in a branded canister.
The nose brings caramel, toasted oak, dark fruit, vanilla and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with butterscotch, cherry, cinnamon, leather, dark chocolate and tobacco, and the finish is long, with cracked pepper, chocolate, oak and vanilla.
