Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a bourbon bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is named after Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, an important figure in bourbon's history in the 1800s, who owned many distilleries and introduced production methods that are still used today.
On the nose there are caramel apples, fresh corn and cloves, with butterscotch arriving after a while. The palate adds more corn sweetness alongside a slight rye spice and cinnamon, and the finish is medium in length, rich and creamy with vanilla.
