This is a blended malt from Compass Box, made by vatting Highland malts in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky goes through a secondary maturation in American casks fitted with new French oak heads, which adds spicy flavour and complexity. Compass Box does not chill-filter its whiskies or add colouring, and it marries them exclusively in American oak.
It is usually described as fruity and rich, with notes of clove and vanilla.
