Compass Box Brûlée Royale Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 49%)

Brûlée Royale is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, in a 70cl bottle at 49% ABV. It continues the blender's run of patisserie-inspired releases and brings together Clynelish, Benrinnes and Speyburn. American oak is part of the make-up, and the Speyburn component was aged in recharred barrels, which adds gloss and texture. The nose is crème brûlée, custard Danish and scorched sugar brittle. On the palate come clotted cream, honeyed malt and broiled peaches, then custard, Tarte Tatin, gentle nutmeg spice, jersey milk, toasted sugar and banana split.
