Compass Box Crimson Casks is a blended malt Scotch whisky made in Scotland and bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
It combines whiskies matured in American oak sherry butts, alongside red wine casks, and is built around chocolate, ripe red fruits and warming spices.
The palate opens with chocolate fudge cake, clove and cardamom, then plum jam, redcurrant jelly, cherry, toffee and oak. The long finish carries raisin, honey and brown sugar.
