The Story of the Spaniard is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Spaniard collection.
The blend was inspired by Spanish wine cask maturation, and a high proportion of its single malts were matured or finished in Spanish sherry and red wine casks.
It is described as vibrant and full-bodied, with dried figs, poached pears, dark red berries and orange peel, layered with vanilla, sweet baking spices and soft oak.
