Compass Box Great King Street

A blended Scotch from Compass Box, made with a high proportion of malt whisky and fine grain whisky, and matured carefully in new French oak. The name comes from the company's Edinburgh address, 24 Great King Street. It has a pronounced peaty smoke, clear sherry notes, dried fruit and a wine-like character, with a full, round sweetness of tropical fruit. The nose is fruity and spicy with vanilla. The palate is rich, with traces of toasted oak, vanilla and spice. The finish is long and spicy.
