Compass Box Great King Street Glasgow Blend (70cl, 43%)

Great King Street Glasgow Blend is a blended Scotch from Compass Box, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. About 67% of the blend is malt whisky from Islay and Speyside, and 33% is grain whisky from the Lowlands. It includes malt matured in Oloroso sherry butts and an Islay single malt with a strongly peated character. Maturation used first-fill sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, with a partial finish in new oak. The label shows Glasgow's Wellington statue wearing its traditional traffic cone. In the mouth it is full, rich and smoky, with sticky toffee pudding, sherry wine character and impressions of a coal fire.
