Great King Street Glasgow Blend is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box. It grew out of a few experimental releases the company made in 2013.
The blend has a high proportion of malt whisky, including malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks and a strongly peated Islay single malt.
The palate is full, rich and smoky, with sweet notes of toffee pudding and pear. The finish leaves a spicy layer on the tongue and ends in buttery warmth.
