Compass Box Great King Street Glasgow Blend

Great King Street Glasgow Blend is a Scotch whisky from Compass Box, built on a high proportion of single malt. That malt content is behind its flavour and complexity, while the whisky keeps the versatility of a blended Scotch. The name nods to Aeneas McDonald's 1930s book 'Whisky', which records that Glaswegians historically preferred fuller-bodied, more flavourful whiskies than drinkers elsewhere. On the palate it is full, rich and smoky, with baking spices and notes of sherry. It can be drunk neat, with water or ice, as a Highball with soda water, or mixed into cocktails.
