Compass Box Juveniles (70cl, 46%)

Juveniles is a Scotch blended malt from Compass Box, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It grew from the long friendship between founder John Glaser and Tim Johnston, owner of the Juveniles Bistrot à Vins in Paris, who wanted a bright, generous and easy-drinking whisky. The blend uses single malts from four distilleries, aged in American oak barrels and rejuvenated hogsheads. It is bottled without chill filtration or added colour. The tasting notes describe fresh orchard fruit, pear drops and vanilla cream on the nose. The palate brings juicy apple, honeycomb and citrus zest, and the finish is clean and lively.
