Compass Box No Name No. 3

Compass Box No Name No. 3 is a blended malt Scotch whisky, the third and last in a sequence exploring the smoky side of Scotch. A heavily peated malt leads the blend, softened by malts with a gentler smokiness and supported by unpeated malts that bring fruit, elegance and spicy sweetness. A seaweedy, barbecue-scented single malt from Laphroaig is part of the mix. A tarry intensity runs through it, together with hints of mango and pineapple at the very edge of ripeness. It is described as vibrant and expansive, with considerable weight.
