A blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, made from Clynelish, Linkwood, Glen Moray, Aberlour and Caol Ila and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a fruit-forward, spirit-driven style of Scotch.
Most of the blend comes from first-fill bourbon barrels, with Clynelish and Linkwood making up the bulk. Aberlour spent time in first-fill Oloroso casks, and a Highland malt blend in custom French oak. The light oak influence brings a gentle honey sweetness.
Tasting notes describe crisp red apple and pear, then shortbread, honeyed vanilla, and hints of wild strawberries and Earl Grey tea.
