A blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It combines the peat of Islay with Highland malts.
The blend draws on single malts including Caol Ila, Laphroaig and lightly peated Highland whiskies, matured in refill American oak casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose opens with smoke, charred oak, sea air and damp forest, with grilled lemon, vanilla and a touch of medicinal herb beneath. The palate is peaty, with cracked pepper, stone fruit, earthy spice, dark cocoa and citrus oil. The finish is long, with smoke softening into brine, white pepper and dried herbs.
