Compass Box The Double Single (70cl, 46%)

The Double Single is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, built on the idea that true complexity needs only two components. It combines one single malt, from Glen Elgin, with one single grain, from Girvan. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers milk chocolate, iced buns and salted butter. On the palate there is light vanilla and citrus, followed by a pinch of ground cinnamon. The finish lingers with grain sweetness and touches of malt loaf.
