Compass Box The Extinct Blends Quartet Ultramarine (70cl, 51%)

Ultramarine is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 51% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to The Extinct Blends Quartet, which reimagines blended Scotches of past decades. Its inspiration is a deluxe blend first released in the late 1980s, known for antique Sherry and pipe tobacco notes. Mature malts from Caol Ila and Glendullan are combined with aged grain whisky from Cameronbridge and Girvan, along with a medley of pre-blended stocks. The result is described as powerfully flavoursome and impressively textural.
