The Peat Monster is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, part of its Signature Range. It combines Islay single malts with heavily peated Highland single malts, and was inspired by feedback from drinkers who enjoy smoky whisky.
It was matured in a mix of new and used American oak casks.
The palate is clearly smoky, with sweet notes of vanilla and dried fruit. The finish is long and intense, with a firm hit of oak and peat smoke.
