The Peat Monster is a heavily smoky blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled at 46%, unfiltered and with natural colour.
Most of the blend is malt from the Islay distilleries Caol Ila and Laphroaig, with a small share of Highland malt. The Islay malts matured in refill hogsheads, while the Highland malt was aged in custom-made casks of American and French oak.
Its character is creamy and fruity beneath the smoke.
