Corsair Dark Rye American Rye Malt Whiskey (75cl)

Corsair Dark Rye is an American rye malt whiskey from Corsair Artisan Distillery in Nashville, Tennessee, in a 75cl bottle. Its mash bill is 61% malted rye, 4% malted chocolate rye and 35% malted barley, with no corn. Every grain in the mash is malted, and the malted chocolate rye is kilned at a higher temperature, a method borrowed from brewing, to bring out roasted character. The nose is rich chocolate and coffee with rye spice and toasted grain. The palate offers chocolate, dark espresso roast and spice, and the finish is dry and spiced with a lingering dark roast.
