This is a barrel-aged American gin from Corsair Artisan Distillery, bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is distilled using a vapour basket and then rested in charred American oak barrels that previously held Corsair's spiced rum.
The nose is led by juniper, with cinnamon, clove and coriander, then cola, anise and sweet oak. The palate opens with anise, black liquorice and clove, softening to vanilla, tropical fruit and candied nuts. The finish is medium-long and dry, with ginger, liquorice and a little grip from the oak.
