Corsair Triple Smoke is an American single malt at 40% ABV, made from three separately smoked malts: barley smoked over cherrywood from Wisconsin, beechwood from Germany and peat from Scotland. It is pot-distilled in Nashville, Tennessee, and aged in new charred American oak.
The nose has balanced smoke over sweet malt. Smoke and cherry fill the palate, with a slight brininess from the peat and beechwood earthiness beneath. The finish is gentle but lengthy, sweet and spicy with a faint bourbon tingle.
