Crabbie & Cree Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

A blended Scotch whisky from Crabbie & Cree, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 80% grain whisky and 20% single malt from Bonnington Distillery. The name goes back to two families linked by marriage: in 1853 James Cree married Agnes, eldest daughter of the independent bottler John Crabbie. It can be served neat or in a highball with ginger ale or soda. The nose is light, sweet and delicate, with icing sugar, pick and mix, a little red fruit and sugared berries. The palate is sweet and fresh, with plenty of sugar and the same notes as the nose. The finish is medium, with floral notes of crushed petals.
