Cragganmore 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 75cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1869 by John Smith, who lobbied for a railway siding to serve it, and takes its name from the mountain in whose shadow it sits.
The whisky is gold in colour with a firm, rounded body of light to medium weight.
The nose is sweet and floral, with riverside herbs and flowers, honey and vanilla. The palate is strongly malty, with sweet wood smoke and sandalwood. The finish is long and malt-driven, with light smoke and a hint of sweetness.
