This is the 2021 Distillery Edition from Cragganmore, a Speyside distillery in Scotland. It is a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The whisky is double matured, with Port wine casks forming part of its maturation, which adds sweetness and a fruity depth.
The nose is rich, with ripe fruit, honey and a touch of spice. The palate is full and sweet, with dried fruit and honeyed flavours and a light thread of smoke. The finish is long, with woody notes and the sweetness of dried fruit.
