This is a 16-year-old single cask Craigellachie from Speyside, distilled in April 2005 and bottled in July 2021 at 50% ABV. It matured in a first-fill ex-sherry butt, cask 2, and 798 bottles were filled. It has no added colour and is not chill-filtered. It belongs to the LongValley Selection, an independent bottling range started in 2021 by three whisky enthusiasts from the Swiss Langatun distillery. The distillery was founded in 1891. The tasting notes mention cassis, roasted notes, leather, cloves and candyfloss.
