Craigellachie 19 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a range of cask types before vatting, after which half went into first-fill sherry casks and half into first-fill bourbon casks. It comes from a distillery known for its sulphurous side, and this bottling is described as bold and powerful.
The nose offers pineapple chunks in syrup, with spice and a sulphury backbone. The palate is sweet and biscuity, with a hint of smoke.
