Craigellachie 17 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added caramel colouring. Its fruity, muscular character comes from the distillery's worm tub condensers.
It was first matured in a mixture of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, then half the blend was finished in first-fill Sherry casks and the rest in first-fill Bourbon casks.
It is smooth and mellow in flavour, with rich, silky notes of exotic fruits.
