Crater Lake Estate Rye Whiskey is a straight American rye, grown, distilled and aged at the Crater Lake distillery in Bend, Oregon. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV (93 proof) in a 75cl bottle and is kosher. The grain comes from 14 acres of rye, and the water is filtered through lava rock from a well 745 feet deep. The mash is 100% rye and is distilled in single batches once each year. The whiskey is aged for at least five years in the Central Oregon High Desert, so each bottle reflects the rye crop of its year.
