Crémant d'Alsace AOC 110 Brut from Arthur Metz is a sparkling wine made by the traditional method, with fermentation in bottle. It has a fine, persistent perlage and a creamy texture.
The nose opens with notes of ripe white fruit such as apple and pear, with fresh citrus, then floral hints such as elderflower and delicate bread crust notes from ageing on the lees. On the palate it balances freshness and complexity, with a minerality recalling the clay-limestone soils of the region.
It pairs well with fish, seafood and light starters, and can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif.
