Croithli Coillin Triple Cask Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Croithli Coillin Triple Cask is an Irish single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has no added colour. The whisky is made at the Crolly Distillery in the west Donegal Gaeltacht, twice distilled in direct-fired copper pot stills and matured on site. It rests first in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, then finishes in three types of new oak, which gives the Triple Cask name. The nose has soft caramel and vanilla with clove and fresh ginger. The palate is smooth and structured, with ripe plum, sweet oak and vanilla. The finish is medium in length and slightly oily, with toffee, vanilla and gentle oak spice.
