A non-chill filtered blended Scotch whisky from Cutty Sark, bottled at 50% (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It takes its inspiration from the full-strength whisky smuggled into the United States during Prohibition.
The blend is made from hand-selected single malts and grain whiskies matured in American oak casks, with The Glenrothes in Speyside regarded as its home. It was awarded Double Gold at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose is toffee and honeyed malt with lemon peel, soft orange and vanilla. The palate is creamy toffee and creme brulee, then ripe pear, pepper, cocoa and charred oak, with an oily texture. The finish is medium, with black pepper, malty cocoa and a faint floral note.
