Dad's Hat Port Wine Finish is a Pennsylvania rye whiskey bottled at 47% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It uses the mashbill of the classic Dad's Hat rye: 80% rye, 15% malted barley and 5% malted rye.
The whiskey was aged for a minimum of six months in new oak quarter cask barrels, then finished for three months in port wine barrels.
The rye is described as crisp, smooth and spicy, with the delicate sweetness of port alongside.
