Daddy Rack – Single Barrel #10 Cask Strength 2023 Release (61.7%)

A four year old single barrel Tennessee whisky from Daddy Rack, released in 2023 at cask strength: 61.7% ABV, or 123.4 proof. The mash bill is 80% corn, 10% rye and 10% malted barley, and the whisky matured in barrel number 10. A total of 300 bottles were released. The nose is crisp orchard fruit, apples, peaches and spicy notes. On the palate come fresh cherries and berries, earthy vanilla, a touch of cocoa and warming ginger. The finish adds more jammy fruit, toasted oak with a peppery bite, and candied ginger.
