Refill hogshead
An independently bottled Speyside single malt from Dailuaine, distilled in January 2007 and matured for 9 years in a single refill hogshead. Douglas Laing bottled it in November 2016 as part of the Provenance range, at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. In the nineteenth century Dailuaine was Speyside's largest distillery, and it had Scotland's first pagoda-roofed kiln. The nose is fresh, with zesty lemon rind and home baking. The palate is smooth vanilla cream and cereal, balanced by lively grapefruit and white peach. The finish lingers sweetly with barley and ripe pears.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
