This is a 10-year-old single malt from Dalmunach distillery in Speyside, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026. Part of its maturation was spent in a small oloroso sherry octave, where the smaller cask brings more contact between whisky and wood.
It is a release of 98 bottles from Darkness, bottled at 63.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. On the palate it is juicy, fruity and nutty, with coffee and dark chocolate emerging, and the finish brings chocolate mousse and gentle oak.
