This Dalmunach is a six-year-old single cask bottled by Watt Whisky at 57.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2023, with 456 bottles drawn from an Amontillado butt.
The whisky started in ex-bourbon casks and then spent 22 months finishing in the Amontillado butt.
On the palate it is full, with dark fruit, strawberry yoghurt, nougat and dark cherries.
Dalmunach was built on the site of the former Imperial distillery and started production in 2015.
