A 9 year old Dalmunach from Speyside, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh from a single refill bourbon barrel at 52.8% ABV. The outturn was 255 bottles, and the whisky is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
It is described as bright and fruit-forward, with a gentle waxiness, warming spice and citrus.
The nose is light and fruity, with ripe pears, crisp apples, honey and creamy fudge. The palate is slightly earthy and waxy, with lemon zest, stewed apples and warming cinnamon. The finish is medium to long, with star anise and nutmeg alongside bright citrus.
