This is a 9 year old Dalmunach from Gleann Mór Spirits, part of the Rare Find range. Dalmunach is a Speyside distillery built on the site of the former Imperial Distillery. The whisky was distilled in 2016, finished for 17 months in a first-fill Oloroso quarter cask and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 60.6%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Just 195 bottles were filled.
The nose has lemon sponge cake, powdered bonbons, vanilla custard and toffee, with ginger spice and hedgerow berries. On the palate, apples, pears and red berries lead into burnt toffee, chocolate walnut brownies and gingerbread. The finish is sustained, moving gradually towards citrus.
