Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery sits more than 1,100 feet above sea level, among the highest in Scotland, and the whisky is matured in oak casks in warehouses there. Non-peated malt is used.
On the nose are heather honey, soft vanilla and orchard fruit with a hint of smoke. The palate has pears, toffee and malted cereal with a touch of peat. The finish is clean, floral and lightly spiced, with oak and honey.
