Dalwhinnie 15 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Dalwhinnie distillery in the Highlands, matured for 15 years in oak casks. The distillery sits at one of the highest altitudes in Scotland, and its cold climate is credited with the soft, delicate floral character.
The nose brings honey, malt and a little ripe fruit over a base of peat and vanilla. The palate is creamy, with honey, vanilla, cinnamon and white pepper, and the finish carries a light smokiness.
