Dark Arts Whiskey House French Oak Staves is a straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 54% ABV. It is a high-rye whiskey with a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley, distilled in Indiana and then finished, blended and bottled in Kentucky. The bourbon spent several months ageing with French oak staves, which add natural wood flavour and soft, sweet, warm notes alongside the spice of the rye. The whiskey is six to eight years old. Dark Arts Whiskey House was founded by Macaulay Minton and is based in Lexington, Kentucky, where it blends, rebarrels and finishes whiskey.
