Dartigalongue Dry Cellar Bas-Armagnac (75cl, 43.4%)

Dartigalongue Dry Cellar is a Bas-Armagnac from a Nogaro house, bottled at 43.4% in a 75cl bottle. It is made from Ugni Blanc, Baco 22A and Folle Blanche and distilled once in an Armagnacais column still. It is aged for a minimum of two years in Gascon oak, entirely in the house's dry attic cellar, where wide temperature swings give a taut, intense style. The bottling strength is higher than the usual 40%. The nose offers delicate vanilla, plum and peach. The palate is very intense and straight, and the finish is marked by spice.
