Dartigalongue Reserve Armagnac (70cl)

Dartigalongue Reserve is an Armagnac blended from several vintages. It is aged first in dry wood, which softens the sharper edges of young spirit, and then in humid wood, which adds harmony and softness. The Dartigalongue family grows the three classic grapes of the area for the base wines: Ugni Blanc brings fruity and spicy notes, Baco gives structure and Folle Blanche adds elegance and a floral finesse. The nose offers ripe yellow fruit, dried fruit, caramel and vanilla. The palate is rich, with an intense, warm entry and a persistent, harmonious close, ending in a balsamic finish of plum and vanilla.
