Decadent Drinks Old Orkney 1999 25 Year Old (70cl)

Old Orkney 1999 is a 25 year old Orkney single malt, the fourth bottling in the Old Orkney series from Decadent Drinks. It comes in a 70cl bottle at natural cask strength. Most of its life was spent in plain refill wood. The final six years were in a very old first-fill, ex-bodega oloroso sherry butt, which adds old-school sherry character to the distillery's own. It is described as deeply earthy, gamey and rich, with gentle peat smoke, waxes, hessian and savoury, salty notes.
