A high-rye bourbon from Devil's River, made with less corn and a greater share of rye. The recipe is built to give the pronounced bite that high-rye whiskeys are known for. It is bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The distillery uses fresh water from the Devils River region, filtered through limestone. The whiskey is chill-filtered and has a deep amber colour.
It opens boldly, then moves to oak, honey and caramel, leading to a warm, sweet and smooth finish.
