Dewar's 12 Year Old Double Aged is a blended Scotch whisky made from malt and grain whiskies, each matured for at least 12 years. After blending, the whisky goes through Dewar's double-ageing process, which lets the components marry. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
The nose offers honey, fresh orchard fruit, vanilla, delicate floral notes and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is rounded, with honey, caramel, ripe apple, soft malt sweetness and gentle warming spice. The finish is smooth and gently warming, with honey, vanilla, mellow oak and a little spice.
