Dewar's 12 Year Old Double Aged is a blended Scotch whisky from John Dewar & Sons, made from malt and grain whiskies aged for at least 12 years. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The double ageing is the brand's signature process: after blending, the whisky goes through an additional marrying period.
The nose is honey, vanilla, fresh apple and delicate citrus with subtle toasted oak. The palate is smooth and rounded, with honeyed malt, caramel, ripe pear and gentle spice. The finish is mellow and gently warming, with honey, soft oak and vanilla.
