Dewar's 18 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines single malt and grain whiskies, each matured for a minimum of 18 years.
The blend goes through Dewar's double ageing, in which it returns to oak casks for a further marrying period to help the whiskies integrate.
The nose brings honey, dried fruits, marzipan and soft floral notes. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with toffee, ripe peach, almond and gentle oak spice. The finish is long, warm and delicately sweet, with a whisper of smoke.
