Dewar's – 27 Year Old Double Double (37.5cl)

This is a 27 year old blended Scotch whisky from Dewar's, created by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod and sold in a 37.5cl bottle. It is made in four stages. Single malts and single grains are aged separately for at least 27 years, the malts and grains are each blended and rested, and the two blends are then married and rested again. The whisky is finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks. The nose is floral, with heather honey, toasted almonds, dried apricot and baking spice. The palate shows ripe peach, caramelised orchard fruit and toasted walnut, and the finish is long, with dried fruit, warm oak spice and floral honey.
