Dewar's 8 Year Old Japanese Smooth is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. After Dewar's double ageing process, it is finished in Mizunara oak casks sourced from Japan, which lend a sandalwood-like character.
It is part of the Dewar's Smooth cask series. Incense, ripe melon and vanilla show on the nose. The palate is silky, with honeyed malt, sandalwood, coconut and delicate spice, and the finish is warm, woody and subtly sweet, with a hint of smoke and spice.
